Stuart Wilde

I’ve only just started reading this book by Stuart Wilde. I could have written a post about earlier books that I have read, but reading Stuart Wilde’s book has made me think those last days. Especially now, after the holidays, and after being fortunate enough to be spending and receiving money and gifts, I have been wondering about the importance of money and abundance in my and in our lives and how they manifest.

Sometimes, it’s challenging to strike a balance between spending too much or too little money on a gift or on yourself: you don’t want to come across as stingy, but you don’t want to overspend either. And then there is the question whether you are going to spend money on others or on yourself or whether you are going to save money for a more important future project.

Well, as far as I can tell from what I have read, Stuart Wilde argues that the amount of money you spend or invest is the least important; money is just energy and it’s the energy or intention that is attached to our spending and saving money that matters most and that influences which turns our finances take. If we are spending in alignment with our values then we are and will be living a life of abundance.
